Families, Seniors And Communities

While some efforts are made to restore connections, such as family dinners and shared activities, the overall trend leans toward disconnection. Globally, countries like Italy, Spain, and many in Latin America continue to place high value on family...

A World Filled With Peace

World peace is an ideal where nations, communities, and individuals live in harmony, respect human rights, share resources equitably, and resolve conflicts peacefully. Global Won can contribute by focusing on education, advocacy, collaboration, ethical leadership, and empowering communities at the grassroots level, aligning its initiatives with the broader goals of global justice, sustainability, and empathy.

Food Challenges

The greatest food challenges in the U.S. and globally include food insecurity, unsustainable agricultural practices, and food waste. In the U.S., millions struggle with access to affordable, nutritious food, while globally, over 800 million people face chronic hunger. Additionally, climate change, soil degradation, and water scarcity threaten the sustainability of food production, with unsustainable farming practices depleting soil health and biodiversity. Food waste compounds these issues, with roughly one-third of food produced globally going to waste.

World Wide Water

Globally, water and sewage challenges include water scarcity, contamination, inadequate infrastructure, and unequal access to sanitation. Over 2 billion people lack access to safe drinking water, and 4.5 billion lack adequate sanitation services. Population growth, pollution, and climate change further strain water resources. Poor sewage systems lead to contamination of water supplies, spreading diseases and affecting public health. In developing regions, the lack of clean water and sanitation limits economic growth and quality of life, perpetuating poverty cycles.

Security Through Building Trust

How can we establish and sustain global trust while fostering a sense of unity, where everyone is seen as family rather than an adversary or enemy?Creating and maintaining total trust and fostering a global sense of family requires a shift in mindset, communication, and action. Here are the key steps to achieving this vision:

Education: Empowered Mentors "Paying It Forward"

The U.S. education system is decentralized, with each state setting its own curriculum. This system offers diversity in public, charter, and private schools, emphasizing broad liberal arts education rather than early specialization. In contrast, countries like Finland and Japan have centralized systems, focusing on equity, fewer standardized tests, and stronger emphasis on STEM.

Good Governance

The best forms of governance promote fairness, participation, and transparency. For families and communities, adopting collaborative practices helps ensure harmony and growth. Key principles to implement in daily life include:

Collaborative Economic Development

Creating economic development for communities requires a holistic approach that combines education, innovation, infrastructure, and collaboration. The focus should be on empowering individuals and businesses to thrive, ensuring that resources, opportunities, and support are accessible to all. Here's how we can foster sustainable development:

Total Health

For mind, body, spirit, and decision-making to become central to social, political, and educational practices, a holistic shift is needed at all levels. Here’s how this can become the new norm and how Global Won’s Empowered Mentors can contribute:

Energy & Environment

The best global energy sources for daily needs prioritize sustainability, efficiency, and minimal environmental impact. Renewable energy options like solar, wind, and hydropower are increasingly popular for their ability to reduce reliance on fossil

Habitats

Resolving the habitat crisis for everyone on the planet requires a sustainable, equitable approach to housing and environmental stewardship. The core challenge is providing affordable, safe homes while preserving the planet’s ecosystems. A holistic solution focuses on integrating green building practices, utilizing renewable energy, and promoting community-based models that ensure housing is accessible to all.

Space, Technology and Innovation

The digital divide limits access to the internet and digital tools in underserved regions, widening gaps in education and economic opportunities. Cybersecurity threats pose increasing risks to data privacy and critical infrastructure worldwide. Automation and AI advancements displace jobs, particularly in manufacturing, creating workforce challenges.
